My village is Matiari, where i have born.That is very small village but there people is very good, this is my village school where from i passed H.S. This school is near Ganges side. The name of our school is Matiari Ram Pada sen memorial high school. The village is famous for the metal (pitol). 

Matiari, also spelt Metiari, is located on the eastern banks of the Hooghly River, in Nadia    District of West  Bengal.     Debagram is 10 km to its  north-east.  Kaliganj to  the   north-east, Patuli to the  south  and  Katwa  to the east  are the other  nearby  places. The town also borders with the district of Bardhaman.

Tourist options include Sonargouranga temple, (the temple with the  golden   statue  of   Chaitanya  Mahaprabhu),   Chandroday Temple,    Roman    Catholic    Church,   Bethuadahari   Wildlife Sanctuary, Navadvipa and Saligram.

Bethuadahari Railway Station is the nearest railhead.
